Corrosion Inhibitors
NovaStar LP offers a full line of corrosion inhibition products to mitigate the corrosive effects of produced (or injected) fluids. Oil and gas production is normally in the presence of water as well as the desired hydrocarbon stream. Acid gasses such as hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide are often found the in produced fluids as well. The resulting mixture can be quite corrosive to the steel in oil field production equipment.
