NS-8039
Scale Inhibitor Base

NS-8039 is an ATMP phosphonate (acid form).  NS-8039 has temperature stability a of  350ºF.  Typically, dilutions are 20 to 30% of product to water, or water and alcohol mixtures.  It can be neutralized with KOH, NaOH, NH3 or other basic amines to a desired pH.  NS-8039 is a very effective product for inhibiting barium sulfate, calcium sulfate and calcium carbonate scales.  This product makes an effective squeeze product when combined with polymers.
