Hydroxyethyl Imidazoline Corrosion Inhibitor
NS-7164 is a high molecular weight imidazoline. Salting of the amine with organic acids will generate a water soluble product excellent for inhibiting the corrosion resulting from acid gas and/or organic or inorganic acids. Oil based products exhibit excellent film persistency in batch treating products. Other uses for NS-7164 are wetting agents, emulsifiers and cationic surfactants.
